Course Description

Do you organise a range of functions for your Vocational Education organisation?  Are you responsible for delivering training and assessment to a wide range of learners?  Are you responsible for designing or coordinating learning and assessment programs in complex environments? This nationally accredited course is designed for the experienced practitioner delivering training and assessment services within the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
The Diploma of Vocational Education and Training is a national qualification designed for individuals who may be responsible for designing training strategies, establishing training systems, and developing assessment tools and procedures.  The specialist units of competency emphasize system level operation and management.
This course offers exciting work-based learning opportunity and is quite unlike traditional classroom-based programs.  We will focus on developing advanced teaching techniques, action-learning projects, work-based projects, conducting competency needs analysis, and establishing training and assessment systems.
This accredited course emphasises the management and developing of systems to promote training and assessment.

  2. Portfolio of evidence required to substantiate claims
  3. Interview to confirm underpinning knowledge

Participants use the Evidence Guide to conduct self-assessment and identify personal strengths.  This leads to an individual development plan which identifies each individual’s learning needs, the most appropriate learning strategies and also agreed milestones for course completion.

Assessment

The assessment program requires participants to research and prepare major projects and assignments. In addition you are required to undertake practical exercises and are required to conduct simulated activities in the workplace.
