  • MEA118 – Conduct Self in the Aviation Maintenance Environment:
    Understand how to conduct yourself professionally in the aviation maintenance workplace, following industry protocols and maintaining a positive work ethic.

  • MEA154 – Apply Work Health and Safety Practices in Aviation Maintenance:
    Learn to apply Work Health and Safety (WHS) practices in the aviation maintenance environment to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

  • MEA155 – Plan and Organise Aviation Maintenance Work Activities:
    Develop the ability to plan and organise maintenance tasks, ensuring efficiency and adherence to industry standards.

  • MEA156 – Apply Quality Standards During Aviation Maintenance Activities:
    Understand and implement quality control processes during aviation maintenance, ensuring all work meets regulatory and industry standards.

  • MEA157 – Complete Aviation Maintenance Industry Documentation:

  • MEA158 – Perform Basic Hand Skills, Standard Trade Practices, and Fundamentals in Aviation Maintenance:

  • MEM12001 – Use Comparison and Basic Measuring Devices:
    Understand how to use basic measuring devices and comparison tools to ensure precision in maintenance tasks. There are 3 pre-requites units required for this unit.

    • MEM13015 - Work safely and effectively in manufacturing and engineering

    Understand how to safely unpack explosives, following all safety protocols to ensure proper handling.

  • DEFEXO008 – Conduct Explosives Inspection:
    Learn to conduct thorough inspections of explosives to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.

  • MEA295 – Use Electrical Test Equipment to Perform Basic Electrical Tests on Aircraft and Components:
    Develop the ability to use electrical test equipment for performing basic electrical tests on aircraft systems and components.

  • MEALSU0002 – Maintain and Fit Helmets:
    Gain skills in maintaining and fitting helmets used in aviation environments, ensuring they meet safety standards.

  • MEALSU0006 – Maintain, Pack, and Fit Survival Inflatable Buoyancy Vests:
    Learn to maintain, pack, and fit inflatable buoyancy vests used in aircraft survival situations.

  • MEALSU0010 – Operate and Maintain Sewing Machines and Overlockers:
    Understand how to operate and maintain sewing machines and overlockers for fabric repair and maintenance tasks.

  • MEALSU0008 – Manufacture, Repair, and Alter Aircraft-Related Fabric Components:
    Learn to manufacture, repair, and alter fabric components related to aircraft, using industry-standard techniques.

  • MSFSF2015 – Cut Single Layer Fabrics:
    Gain the skills to accurately cut single-layer fabrics for use in aircraft maintenance and component repair.

  • MSFSF2002 – Machine Sew Materials:
    Learn to machine-sew materials as part of fabric component manufacturing and repair in the aviation industry.

  • MSTTF2008 – Use Adhesives:
    Understand how to safely and effectively use adhesives in the repair and maintenance of aircraft components.

 

Certiifcation

Upon successful completion of the MEA30322 Certificate III in Aircraft Life Support and Furnishing, participants will receive a nationally recognised qualification. This certification will be issued when you have:

  • Successfully completed all required assessment tasks

  • Paid all course fees in full

  • Provided all necessary supporting documentation
