The G2 Risk Facilitator Refresher Course, covering the unit RIIRIS402E – Carry Out the Risk Management Process, is designed for individuals who have previously completed the full G2 Risk Facilitator training and need to refresh their knowledge and skills to maintain compliance with Queensland’s mining and safety regulations. This refresher course ensures that supervisors, team leaders, and safety officers stay current with the latest risk management practices and legislative changes, keeping them equipped to manage and facilitate risk processes in high-risk environments.
The primary aim of the G2 Refresher Course is to update participants on any regulatory changes, reinforce their understanding of the risk management process, and refresh their skills in hazard identification and control measures. Upon successful completion, participants will be able to:

Course Prerequisites and Entry Requirements
To enrol in the G2 Refresher Course, participants must meet the following entry requirements:

Completion of the Initial G2 Qualification: Participants must have previously completed the full G2 Risk Facilitator course.

USI (Unique Student Identifier): A USI is required for enrolment in any accredited training in Australia.

Assessment Method
Participants will be assessed through:

Written Assessments: Multiple-choice and short-answer questions to assess participants' understanding of current risk management processes and safety legislation.

Practical Assessments: Participants will be required to demonstrate their ability to carry out a refreshed risk management process, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and the application of control measures.

This certification is nationally recognised and is valid for five years, after which participants may need to complete refresher training to maintain compliance with industry standards.
