Course Prerequisites and Entry Requirements

There are no formal prerequisites for this qualification. However, participants should:

​

• Be Employed in a Relevant Role: As this course is delivered via employment-based training, participants must be employed in a surface extraction or related industry.

• Basic Literacy and Numeracy Skills: A foundational level of literacy and numeracy is required to understand and complete course materials and assessments.

• USI (Unique Student Identifier): Participants must provide a USI for enrolment in accredited training in Australia.

Certification

​

Upon successful completion, participants will receive the nationally recognised qualification,  RII30120 Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations. This qualification enables participants to perform a wide range of roles in surface extraction and mining operations.

 

Please note that your certification will be issued within 30 calendar days of meeting these requirements, in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) guidelines.
